Photomontage: the way to go for new builds on existing streets, extensions to existing buildings or refurbishments. This is especially true when the surrounding buildings or landscape is a particular selling feature for your new property.

As their name suggests, the basis for a Photomontage is a high quality photograph. Depending on the requirements of your particular project, this photography can be taken by us here at CGEye; we can commission a photographer on your behalf. Alternatively, we’re always happy to work with photos supplied to us. One thing to bear in mind if supplying your own photography is that the completed CGI image we send back to you will be at the same resolution and quality of the original photograph. So it’s worth bearing in mind how you’d like to use the image before you just nip out with your iPhone.

We’re not completely limited by the look of the photograph. Although, we are limited by the size of the pic provided. As you can see from this project in Cheltenham, as well as the day time image we were also commissioned to create some dusk shots. Both of these were created from the same original, daytime photograph.

These examples illustrate how with a little bit of extra work and creativity we can create stunning and atmospheric images. Your marketing efforts can include these visuals that we provide!

Photomontages and/or their more technically accurate cousins ‘Verified Views‘ can also be instrumental in any planning applications. We’ll be doing a post explaining the process of verified views in the near future, but in the mean time feel free to contact us directly if you’d like to find out more.
